The last Aspen vacation info is interesting. To give you an Idea how hard people had to work to get all this information here is just one example:

“Judicial Watch elaborates:

-The total cost for the Aspen ski vacation was at least $83,182.99.
-The bill for the U.S. Secret Service, including accommodations at the Fasching Haus deluxe condominium and the Inn at Aspen, was $48,950.38.
-The cost for the flight, per official DOD published hourly rates, was $22,583.70. Food and miscellaneous on-flight items cost $235.44. The cost for rental cars totaled $6,442.23.
Key details, including flight records for the Secret Service detail and the names of individuals who accompanied Mrs. Obama on the vacation, were redacted from the documents with the exception of two staffers. One was Meredith Koop, her personal assistant and style advisor, the other was her scheduler Kristen Jarvis.
“No wonder we had to file a lawsuit in federal court and wait six months to get basic information on Michelle Obama’s luxury Aspen vacation,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

“The costs of the Obama family ski weekend are staggering. These high-priced luxury vacations, and the lack of transparency about them, are beginning to seem like an abuse of office.”"

GIRLS’ TRIP TO SPAIN: AUGUST 2010
The exact cost is unclear as Mrs Obama and her 40 friends footed many personal expenses, such as hotels and meals themselves.
But the U.S. taxpayer would have paid for the First Lady’s 68-strong security detail, personal staff, and use of presidential jet Air Force Two.
Per diems for the secret service team runs at around $281 each – nearly $98,000 for the length of the summer break.
Use of Air Force Two, the Air Force version of a 757, comes in at $149,900 for the round trip. This does not include time on the ground.
Mrs Obama’s personal staff, of which there are an unknown amount and might cost considerably more per day, should also be taken into account.
CHRISTMAS BREAK IN HAWAII: DECEMBER 2010
According to the Hawaii Reporter, the bill for the $1.5m trip included:
$63,000 on an early flight bringing Mrs Obama and the children to Hawaii ahead of the President.
$1,000,000 on Mr Obama’s return trip from Washington on Air Force One.
$38,000 for the ‘Winter White House’ beach property rental.
$16,000 to rent nearby homes for Secret Service and Navy Seals.
$134,000 for 24 White House staff to stay at the Moana Hotel.
$251,000 in police overtime.
$10,000 for an ambulance to be on hand at all times
SKI TRIP TO VAIL: FEBRUARY 2011
Mrs Obama and her daughters stayed at the Sebastian hotel on Vail Mountain, where rooms cost more than $2,400 for multi-bedroom suites.
The family appear to have flown there on Air Force Two.
They were escorted to the resort by a motorcade of about a dozen vehicles, including 15 state and local law enforcement officers
SUMMER HOLIDAY ON MARTHA’S VINEYARD: AUGUST 2011
The Blue Heron Farm estate, where the Obama family are currently staying, rents for about $50,000 a week.
According to U.S. News and World Report, the Coast Guard is required to keep ships floating near the property, the presidential helicopter and jet remain at the ready and security agents will be on 24-hour duty.

    Tell us the total cost of Michelle’s four year all expense paid vacation in the White House and compare it to previous first ladies so we have some contrast. Also specifically tell us the cost of her support staff compared to previous first ladies.
    I believe if the citizens of the U.S. had a collective look at all the administration has done monetarily and policy wise there would be no possibility of reelection for the President.

    The state dinners she oversaw during the Obama administration were outrageously expensive. $970K for the Mexican president (nearly $5K per attendee!), $500 for UK’s David Cameron and equal amounts for two others. Before this, the highest price of a state dinner anyone can remember was $190K when Clinton hosted hundreds in two tents pitched outside at the White House.
    But what do you expect from a woman who went to Princeton even though she admits she wasn’t qualified (SAT’s in the 400′s), wrote an almost illiterate senior thesis all about what a terrible place Princeton was for her, and doesn’t like Princeton at all. She expects caviar treatment but doesn’t appreciate it.

    I think this is ridiculous and they should be made to pay a portion of it back to the taxpayers. I also think it is so wrong for Obama or any President for that matter to use Air Force One as a mode of transportation when they are on the campaign trail. Mix just enought offical work in the trip to call it a taxpayer expense. Anyone runing for the white house should have to pay all their campaign expense none of it to taxpayers.     Air Force 2 is any U S A F aircraft in which the Vice President is a passenger. A flight for the spouse of a sitting president would have a designation of “SAM” for special air mission. The spouse of the CIC does not merit a number “2″ designation. Helicopters transporting the POTUS /VPOTUS would be Marine (or Navy) 1 / 2. Just FYI

    When did we, “The People” ELECT HER to a royal office? We have to pay for her PLUSH trips around the world and had to pay for all her lavish, expensive shopping trips. WHY? She was NOT elected or hired to represent us.
    I would like to have someone else pay for a few vacations that I would to take. I pay for my own living expenses (and my wifes). No one else takes care of my family, ONLY me! I am retired from the Fire Service with 34 years of paid service and 15 years of volunteer service (total of 49 years of firefighting). My service retirement pay is just enough each month to pay my bills and survive, eat and pay my medical bills (medical bills after insurance pays their minimal amount).
    SO WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR SOME DEADBEATS VACATION TRIPS?? Moobama has no idea of the real world. She never has held a real working job (her husband too).

    I do not recall previous First Ladies going on vacations all over the world. The Bush First Ladies usually went to Texas to the ranch and Kennebunck, Maine which they owned so no lavish hotel bills and long flights with food and drinks were needed as well as I do not believe either one had big staffs to worry about. Heck, Even Jackie Kennedy didn’t romp off around the world like this. They tended to go to Hyannis Port to the Kennedy compound. Once again, not needing to spend the money on hotels and such. In my 63 years I have never seen such abuse of the taxpayer’s money.

    This “woman of the people” as a director of Treehouse Foods helped to shut a plant in Colorado,
    putting 153 mostly minority workers out of work in a town with a population of
    only 1,500. That is over 10% of the town put out of work thanks to Michelle
    Obama. The mayor of the town offered to pay the plane fare for either Barack or
    Michelle to come to the town to see what her actions caused. They BOTH REFUSED
    to come.

    Also, she was not Vice President of Public relations or the University of Chicago Medical Center. She was Vice President of COMMUNITY RELATIONS. How did she handle her job? By allowing so many poor BLACK patients to be thrown out of her hospital during her time there that the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) investigated and cited her hospital for PATIENT DUMPING! All of this while DOUBLING the number of assistants assigned to her office.

    In fact Michelle Obama CREATED the patient dumping program, called “South Side Health Collaborative,” which featured a gang of “counselors” whose job it was to “advise” low-income patients that they would be better off at other hospitals and clinics. The program was so successful in getting rid of unwanted patients that she expanded it, gave it a new name, and hired none other than David Axelrod to sell the program to the public. According to the Sun-Times, “Obama’s wife and Valerie Jarrett, an Obama friend and adviser who chairs the medical center’s board, backed the Axelrod firm’s hiring.” Axelrod helped the future First Lady formulate a public relations campaign in which the “Urban Health Initiative” was represented as a boon to the community actuated by the purest of altruistic motives.

    The resultant PR campaign was a study in Orwellian audacity. Chicago’s inner city residents soon began hearing that UCMC’s patient dumping program would “dramatically improve health care for thousands of South Side residents” and that the medical center was generously willing to provide “a ride on a shuttle bus to other centers.” Likewise, the people who ran the community hospitals to which these unwanted patients were being shuttled began to read claims in local media to the effect that the Urban Health Initiative was good for them as well. Dr. Eric Whitaker, the Blagojevich crony who succeeded Mrs. Obama as Director of the program, repeatedly assured gullible reporters that the financial impact on these hospitals would be positive: “The initiative actually is improving their bottom lines.” The CFOs of those hospitals were no doubt relieved to learn that treating Medicaid and uninsured patients is profitable.

    But you just can’t please some people. In one of the few frank passages of the Post article, we discover that many members of UCMC’s medical staff believe the program is nothing more than an “attempt to ensure that the hospital retains only affluent patients with insurance.” And another association of emergency physicians has joined ACEP in denouncing the Urban Health Initiative. The Chicago Tribune reports that Dr. Larry Weiss, president of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine is unhappy about UCMC’s failure to consult its own ER physicians before initiating the program: “Not including emergency-room physicians … would be analogous to changing the way surgery is performed in an operating room without involving any surgeons.” Dr. Whitaker assures us, however, that such critics are merely “opposed to change.”

    Presumably, he would be similarly dismissive of Angela Adams, who brought her son to the medical center’s ER after his lip had been partially torn off by a pit bull. As the Tribune puts it, “Instead of rushing Dontae into surgery … the hospital’s staff began pressing her about insurance.” Unfortunately for Dontae, he was covered by Medicaid. So, all he got from the UCMC emergency department was a shot, some antibiotics, and instructions to “follow up with Cook County.” Angela had to take her son across town to John Stroger Hospital, where he was immediately admitted for reconstructive surgery. Like doctors Jouriles and Weiss, Angela is having trouble seeing the community benefit of the Urban Health Initiative.

    Meanwhile, the program’s parents, Michelle Obama and David Axelrod, have moved to Washington.

    I wonder who Angela and Dontae Adams are voting for in the Presidential race? Do they even realize that it was Michelle who prevented him from having the reconstructive surgery to his lip? While she spends billions of taxpayer dollars on vacations, poor BLACKS in Chicago are getting little or no health care because of the program Michelle designed to deny them proper health care. This woman’s husband designed Obamacare so you can IMAGINE how much it is designed to help those in need of medical care just by looking at his wife’s previous efforts to deny medical care to poor BLACK patients in her own neighborhood. Instead of golf, maybe spending some time shooting with Marines at Cherry Point, NC?
