Ohio ‘concerned with the premise’ of Obama campaign military voting suit

The Obama for America campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Ohio Democratic Party filed a lawsuit in late July to strike down part of an Ohio law concerning voting by members of the military, Breitbart.com reported on Thursday.

The law currently allows Ohio citizens to vote early in-person up until the Friday before the election, and gives members of the military three additional days tovote.

Democrats contest the law, saying that it is “arbitrary” and possesses “no discernible rational basis.”

The National Defense Committee says that the Department of Defense’s Federal Voting Assistance Program has reported to the president and Congress that the primary “reason for military voter disenfranchisement is inadequate time to successfully vote,” for each of the last three years.

    I was wondering when the commies were going to try and hamper the military votes again. they know most of the military do not want them in office.

    Since there appears to be an issue with military votes arriving in time to be counted, one would think giving them extra time would be a good idea. Wasn’t there a problem with the military ballots even being sent out in time as well? Curious.

    Ohio should request an emergency opinion from the Supreme Court regarding disenfranchising our military! This is an overt attempt by the regime to supress the military vote! WHY ARE WE ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN???????

      Yes this should happen. Obama and his group of nit wits are try to eliminating the military from voting because 95 percent will vote him gone.

    My God I can’t believe this. Obama and his buddies spools are unwinding. We are talking about our service men voting 3 days early. What if they are in a fox hole or whatever it’s not like they can vote down the street. I’m really getting sick of this Chicago style polotics. Obama , Reid, and Holder better get their acts together. THIS IS AMERICA NOT OBAMA’S KINGDOM.

    The Military should be sent ballots early, as soon as the candidates are placed on the ballots allowing, for their vote to count and the regular citizens allowed their three days. The military should be given special considerations due their status as our protectors.

    Figures that Obozo & the Demorats would object to anything that will probably result in more votes for Republicans. They’ll deny our wonderful military the right to vote even though these people & their families sacrifice so much, including their very lives. These are the same people willing to allow illegals to vote & who oppose clearing the voter registration roles of erroneous registrants & dead people…they are also opposed to voters having to show ID to prevent voter fraud. What do you expect when you put a complete fraud & illegal in the White House. I’m so thankful that GOD will judge them all & will give them the just eternal punishment they deserve.     Patriots who fought in American wars should be priority voters owing to the fact that they defended our country in a very real and palpable way, some at the cost of their lives. Anyone who would deny them the opportunity to vote in a presidential election is nothing, if not a brute and a scoundrel.

    Why is it that the Democrats want every vote to count so they want to allow voters to vote without ID. However when it come to legal issues for our military to vote, they want them to be disenfranchised because they will be voting Republican. This is a bunch of two faced hypocrites, if you ask me. Not that anybody has ever asked though.

    Fellow Americans, does this provide you with enough evidence to know that the present “imposter” President is a very dangerous threat to the peace and tranquility of our nation? Does this convince you that country we know does not fit his agenda, and that he is using the democratic party, as well as the minds of those who are too mentally challenged to think for themselves, and the nation’s perpetual freeloaders who will not work for a living, to reach his socialistic/communistic goals? He and his dictatorial regime have to go this November, and you and I have to make it happen.
