Christie: Santorum 2008 Satan comments are ‘relevant’

Governors Race Debate

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie called Rick Santorum’s 2008 comments that, “Satan has his sights set on the United States of America” “relevant” to the presidential race, if not what the party should be focusing on.

Santorum made the comments in 2008 during a speech at Ave Maria University, and they have caused quite a stir after being posted as the headline on the Drudge Report Tuesday afternoon. The Daily Caller had previously posted the story on Saturday.

In a Wednesday morning appearance on “Good Morning America,” Christie said this:

I think anything you say as a presidential candidate is relevant. I mean it’s by definition relevant, you’re asking to be president of the United States.

Santorum’s comment is relevant because it happens to be true…again, for all the maim-stream media’s stomping and screaming like a five-year old about comments (ahem free-speech) that were made by Santorum…does not diminish the FACT that what he said is completely factual…Just because the relativists and humanists that occupy all the space on cable and network news and don’t “beleive” in evil, Satan or his or its affect on the world around us It does not make it any less real or relevant to each of us because it affects each of us…Christian or not, believer or not. The attitude that they have of sticking their collective heads in the sand is what’s irrelevant, because in the long run guess who’s irrelevant to the outcome? They are…God is and always will be in control…anyone who is paying any attention at all can see history repeating itself over and over again…why? Because human beings and their quest and thirst for power and more of it don’t change, neither does their desire to deny God and evil as real…TPC

Chris Christie has endorsed Governor Romney and is probably in the running to be his VP. Every thing Gov. Christie says needs to be taken with a grain of salt. First, dear Governor, Rick Santorum was not running for President in 2008, he even endorsed Mitt Romney in that race. Secondly he said it at a Catholic College speaking about our faith in our daily life. You are a Catholic, you know that Satan is real and we battle him daily in the quest for eternal life. Thirdly, Governor Christie needs to stop traveling all over the country making speeches and stay in New Jersey and actually do his job. Our sky high taxes that have not gone down one dime since he took office!
